On Friday the 12th of April, the Student Representative Council members in years 3 to 6 hosted our special ANZAC Day assembly.

Donna O’Shea, trustee of the Canterbury Hurlstone Park RSL and ex-servicewoman from The Royal Australian Navy Medical Branch, was our special guest, delivering a memorable speech. This year marked 70 years since the end of World War 2 and 50 years since the end of the Vietnam War. Nora, Chris and Billy shared their personal stories about their families' connections to ANZAC Day.

Thank you to Mr. Kidd and the school band for performing on the day and to Ms. Parkes and Stage 2 students for the beautiful wreath they created.

The students involved put in a lot of work to be prepared for the assembly and they did a fabulous job in executing it.
