Stage One and students in support classes were thrilled to take part in a special chick hatching incursion as part of our Living Things Science and Technology unit. The program gave students a wonderful opportunity to observe the fascinating life cycle of a chick up close. From watching the tiny chicks break out of their shells to gently holding and patting the fluffy newborns, the experience sparked curiosity and excitement in every classroom. It was a memorable, hands-on way to deepen our scientists’ understanding of animal life cycles and nurture their sense of wonder about the natural world. We also kept a daily scientific journal of our observations to record changes over time.
